location. falcon point resort is situated at the foot of beaver creek ski area in avon, colo. the five story building borders nottingham park and lake, is one block from the avon recreation center, and 10 minutes from vail. fabulous mountain vistas invoke an unparalleled serenity that visitors return for year after year. outdoor fun includes biking, fishing, horseback riding, hot air ballooning and golf at a robert trent jones jr. designed course. a large grocery store and several restaurants are within walking distance distance of the resort. vail's tyrolean style village boasts trendy shopping along with fine restaurants and the obvious recreational pursuits. the vilar center for the arts, less than three miles away, offers year round entertainment including symphonies, ballet, film, broadway musicals and comedy.
