situated in a quiet street in the marais quarter this charming hotel is well situated just 15 mn walk from the pompidou center notre dame... seat of the templiers order, the king louis xvi and queen marie antoinette made the donjon of the temple a prison during the french revolution the dauphin has died in it. later it has been pulled down by napoleon 1st in order to avoid any monarchical pilgrimage. a weeping willow has been planted instead of the donjon and was still visible when the hotel was 1st built in 1830.
